I've had the "itch" oh so bad!!! Ever since my recent trip to Lancaster, PA to meet up with a wild group of internet friends and I found some yummy, hand dyed wool yarns in a couple of quaint little shops. I HAD to have them! I love rug punching! If you have never tried it, you simply must! So fast and easy! This is a pic of the chair mat that I punched up while watching TV last night. It measures 14" round and was punched with a #10 Amy Oxford rug punch on a monks cloth foundation. I've never finished the edge of a round rug or mat. It should be dry from blocking tomorrow. That looks so nice Teresa! I've found that the easiest way to finish a round rug, is to sew tape on the edges BEFORE I do any hooking. Of course, it's too late for you to do that now, but maybe next time? Good luck with it!
