Has it really been almost a MONTH since I posted? Hmmmmmmmmm ... I guess it has. How time flies ... healing, working, and therapy ... that's been my life these past weeks. The shoulder continues to heal ... slowly ... but surely. It's still stiff and sore at times ... but I'm getting there. Still going to physical therapy three evenings a week after work for an hour or so of torture ... I still can't tuck my shirt in, do dishes, or lift a laundry basket ... and I can't lay on my right side (which is, of course, the position I MOST want to sleep in) ... and some days are better than others ... but I'm getting there ...
Peeking through the nasturtium seedlings, hubby is showing off his new camera and his picture taking skills ...
Here's our seedling setup this year ... every year we try this and every year we pretty much fail miserably ... this year hubby built us a snazzy little setup using the whoop-de-doo lighting for underwater gardening in his large aquarium ... see all our little babies???
From tomatoes to zinnias ... with six varieties of peppers in between ...
Two varieties of tomatoes ... Early Girls and Beefsteak ...
Nasturtiums (peaches and cream - yummmmmmmmm!!!!) ...
Marigolds ... lots and lots of marigolds for all around and through the vegetable garden ... they really do help with garden pests ...
Sweet basil for the herb garden ... I love to chop up a bit and mix with freshly chopped tomatoes, a little olive oil and vinegar, fresh ground pepper, and a twist or two of sea salt ... yum, yum ...
A new offering just finished today ... click on the pictures to enlarge them ... ten pages of garden journaling in an original, one-of-a-kind handmade altered 2009 Garden Journal ... this heavily distressed journal is bound using a length of stained dowel rod with vintage carpet string and beads ... email me if interested ... $24.95 includes shipping ...

Pieces and parts of a SPRING banner swap I'm in ... my banners are finished, packaged, and ready to go to the post office in the morning ... finishing swaps feels sooooooooooooooo good, doesn't it? I have about a million things that I want to work on next ... it's hard to choose just one ... I want to do it alllllllllllllll now that my arm and shoulder are cooperating a bit ... it feels WONDERFUL to be able to do my crafts again ... paper crafts anyway ... still way too early to do any hooking or punching ... I'm quite limited in what I can do but I'm getting there ... FINALLY!!!
